A critical and exegetical commentary on Ephesians
Ephesian is not an easy book of which to write a commentary. Goodspeed describes it as the Waterloo of commentators. It baffles them. The second of these sentences is undoubtedly true; how the first is to be understood depends whether one is British or French! It is unnecessary to list here teh features which make the book so difficult to interpret; they will rapidly appear in the discussions of the introduction..
