This is a great handbook of early Christian art. It offers an overview of the different art styles and forms throughout the time since the rise of Christian art in the 3rd century AD until the rennaissance period from different geographical regions of the Christian world. It examines Chriatian iconography, in its various forma such as sculptures, paintings, carvings and architecture. The book presents a large array of line drawing representations of the works of art that it is reviewing. In all, it is an excellent addition to the library of anyone interested in Art and History.
