There were some of questions in the hearts of God's chosen people as they returned from captivity in Bablylon and saw their cities destroyed, the walls of Jerusalem broken drown and Solomon's temple in ruins. But God had made a covenant with Abraham that the land was theirs and when hearts turned to Him, He welcomed them home. Now there were grounds for reconciliation and the rebuilding of what they had lost.
