Tyndale New Testament commentaries, v.16: James, c.1-2
The first 25 pages of the book are devoted to introductory matters, and then it goes on to carefully outline a verse-by-verse exegesis of the text that is conservative, practical, and heart warming. In view of the fact that most commentaries on James are either elementary or available only to one who knows Greek, this is a work that brings the thought of the author (James) into the realm of the English reader from a scholarly and biblical approach.
