The most Christian Bible readers of today, it probably is self evident that the Bible consist of two different part, whose thought do not simply coincide, the "Old Testament", which is alos recognized by the jews as " Holy Scripture," and the " New Testament," which for Christians has greater importance. But the same Bible reader, if he has not already been influenced by the insights of modern theology, probably will just as naturally assume that the Old Testament and the New Testament are unitary, each in itself, and that therefore one can with full justification ask about the teachings of the Old and the New Testaments...
